WARS Fan Nicholas Kory has created a really awesome thing for WARS fans-- a whole new way to play the TCG! Now you can emulate the popular Co-Operative Living Card Games of the present, with your WARS cards of the past! Its pretty cool. He wrote up a rules document, and is planning to expand it and add more "adventures" to play through! You can download or read the rules at the link below: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7hv8rwfjvrbxjz1/WARSCoop.pdf?dl=0 Here's what Kory had to say about his work: Hey WARS players. I'm not expecting much of a response to this, but I've been toying with the idea of modding the WARS TCG into a cooperative experience similar to the Living Card Games from Fantasy Flight Games. Playing this requires special deck creation for both the players and the enemy deck, and the structure of the enemy turn is changed up a bit in order to make it automate smoothly and still be a challenge, but it's functional. Still haven't decided if it's all that fun... But I thought I'd share it with you all regardless. I'd greatly appreciate any input from those who decide to look into this. There are two scenarios included in this basic rundown of rules, both featuring Quay as enemies. If I end up liking this format and continuing with it, I may post more. Anyways, enjoy! |

Hey Atreides! I put together the document in a bit of a rush, and it's honestly not a high priority on my list of projects, but I do plan on expanding on it in the future. The easiest way to keep up with this is to keep an eye on the BGG forums for WARS, where I originally posted this (https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1698791/wars-cooperative-lcg-format).
