N: So, what did you want to show me?
(A projection starts up, it shows a wave on a x y plot graph oscillating. The wave hits a certain point, then stabilizes around that one point.)
BlackLikeBurns: Wave Function Collapse is a complicated Scientific principle, so I'm going to lay it out mostly incorrectly for you so that you can understand it.
N: Okay?
B: When you move through space, the possible things that happen are not truly infinite. There is a set amount of things that happen, and can happen. these are represented by the wave on this graph. While it is fun to think about a elephant suddenly appearing inside your skull, or your house turning to cream cheese, as most people are familiar with, these things really don't happen. This is because the options within the world form the path of the wave that we all have.
N: I'm familiar with Wave function collapse and it doesn't actually-
B: Shut up. Now, whenever the possibilities within the wave reach one point where one option becomes certain, the wave collapses into a point. This point is what we know, and what we see. But if there is certainty in the world, is there really choice?
N: What are you talking about? What does this have to do with Electric Mayhem?
B: Shhhh... In due time. Now, what if we could determine what point originated the collapse? Would you call it destiny?
N: I suppose.
B: Then what if the collapse was supposed to happen at a specific point, and someone changed it, messed with the very fabric of the universe?
N: Well, wouldn't things fall apart? Or become malleable?
B: Electric Mayhem accidentally has become a lot of things. That isn't all co-incidence, and if you believe this, never has been. I think however, that the universe cannot continue being determined by us. After all, it did well enough on its own till we started meddling with it.
N: How are we meddling with it?
B: So many questions.
N: Thats why I'm here.
B: There is a rip in reality, and the wave is no longer the leviathan. We have democratized it. Soon though, the very people who choose their own points will try to choose each others
