Wisteria_Engine37: I'm doing great today, how are you
N: Fine and dandy. So tell me a little bit about what you do?
W: Well, the Titan Purple Queen's work to be the most stylish, purple, pretty punk teenagers at our school.
N: On Titan?
W: Well, technically the club was started on titan, and there are still a lot of members there, but I'm from Los Angeles Plex.
N: Oh.
W: Oh?
N: I just expected you to be more... Mavericky.
W: Well, I can't help where I'm born, but I totes have the soul of a Maverick.
N: Great, well, uh, what is your proudest contribution to the fandom of Ellodie?
W: I'm a writer.
N: Indeed? What do you write?
W: I brought some examples if you want to see them!
N: Sure!
Elodie Learns to Choose
An Elecrtic Mayhem story by Wisteria_Engine37
Elodie was in the engine room, as usual. She shook her silky purple hair and lowered her wrench. Yes. What a beautiful ship. But not as beautiful as herself, of course, though she thought otherwise. She THOUGHT she was nothing special, but her lovely purple eyes could entrance the gears of even the roughest heart, something she was about to find out.
She stepped out from the engine room and sighed. Life was so hard out in space. If only there was someone to share her time with.
Reclining languidly against the corridor wall, suit gleaming against the metal, was a man she found all too familiar. He wore goggles and had a rather manic smirk, with the rugged handsomeness of the maverick. His arms were so well muscled, and his long fingers obviously held the dexterity of a hacker. He held a wine glass in one hand and a rose in the other.
“Oh, Valentinez,” Elodie sighed.
His intense eyes gleamed. “Hello, Elodie. I’ve been waiting.” He held out the rose. “I wanted to ask. Will you by chance join me tonight to share a meal in my private apartments?”
Elodie giggled and took the rose. “I’d be delighted to, but are you sure the engineers can survive without me?”
“It’s true none compares to you wielding that wrench,” Valentinez said. “That’s why you were hired. But the others can handle it. Give them the chance and join me tonight.”
She was lost for a second in his intense eyes. “All right.”
That night, Elodie stepped out from her rooms readied up in a lovely ensemble which had been designed by Jade Darkshadow, the most dapper and suave member of the crew. It was purple, of course, slinky, baring one shoulder and slit up the side all the way to the thigh. The dress was modest only in its coverage of her ample bosom. She wore metallic heels, which clicked delicately as she passed down the hall. She held the rose curled about a finger.
The table was set up in Valentinez’ plush and stylish rooms, which were edged in red velvet and curved wood carved with fleur-de-lis. There was a huge window on one side, offering a fantastic view of space. She could see the rift, far off and glowing.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” Valentinez sipped his wine.
“Yes,” Elodie said, staring at the rift. “To think it’s the source of all this mess…”
“I wasn’t talking about the rift,” he said, eyes shining in the starlight. “I meant you, Elodie. Nothing could compare, absolutely nothing.”
She blushed and turned away. “You’re just saying that.”
“Believe what you will, my dear,” he said, fingers cupping her chin to bring her to look at him. He looked frantic. “I must tell you. Ever since you arrived on this ship, the world has been filled with flames. My world. How I long to quench these flames, these fires started from your eyes.”
His face lowered towards hers………………..
Suddenly the door swung open, and standing with a gun in his hand was……….. Natsu!
“Let go of her, swine!” he cried. “It is I who love her!”
Elodie gasped. Two hot men fighting over her?! How could she choose?!
It looked like Elodie would have to learn to choose.
Example 2:
Doitzel is getting married. Can Celeste arrive in time to stop him and reveal her feelings?
“Please stop!” she screamed.
Doitzel and Hex turned from the alter, their hands already entwined, the ring already on Hex’s finger.
“Celeste?” Valentinez looked shocked and hopeful all at once. He remembered the night in the rain, on the cusp of the rings of Saturn—how her lips had tasted. He looked at Hex. She gave him a sad look.
“Please,” Celeste said. “If I don’t tell you now, I’ll never forgive myself. I love you, Doitzel. If you must go into the arms of another, please don’t forget what we shared.”
Doitzel fell to the ground, his shoulders shaking. How could he choose? Here he was with the ring on the hand of a beautiful woman, with another before him—how could he possibly choose?
“Is this really a problem?” Hex sighed, looking down at him. “If you’re so desperate, you can just marry her too.”
“Oh yeah, web marriages,” he said.
They had a lovely wedding on Ganymede a few days later.
W: yep!
(Long pause)
N:I Think we're done here.
(End)
